CAM 2V-12P

Myths

Misleading fact # 1

Yes it’s a 12 color machine but the demo is setup up to use a single color design and 2 of the 12 hoppers are using the same sized stones! So in fact if you want to try an achieve these speeds you need to duplicate and make sure there are two of the same stones in dual hoppers making it effectively a 2 X 6 color machine not a true 12 color machine at the speed stated. Plus you can make 12 colors designs using competitive machines by simply using their exchangeable work trays and software. But the fact remains, 99.9% of all rhinestone designs that are profitable are under 4 colors anyways. Finally it’s still cheaper to have two machines running two separate or simultaneous jobs and not be 100% dependent on one machine when you are running mission critical like that!

Misleading fact # 2

It can’t actually do it two times faster or 3 times faster than competitive machines, that’s just a totally silly statement. The header speed is still the same speed as the 1V-6P and maxed out at 170 stones per minute and that’s fine and dandy BUT they forget to tell you about the hopper carousel changes! No stones get placed while the hopper moves to a new color! That drastically reduces the overall true output speed down by 30-40% or more! If the stones are spaced far apart rather than close together it slows things down. If you really have a 6 or more color design than you have 50-100% more hopper rotation time so your true on the table motif design output is even worse than a less than 6 color design because the hopper rotation time is disproportional and ruining the total output the machine is rated.

So Yes you can quote the speed of the machine but when the competitive machines don’t have same hopper systems and there is NO waiting time for the hopper to change color. It’s bad for the industry to distort the facts for the end user and make false claims about being 2 and 3 times faster when they will find out anyways after watching all the videos more closely on YouTube anyways. In short you can have a 1000 Horsepower car but if you can’t put the power down to the ground and if you are going to lose your license every time you step on the gas to go and get milk, then suddenly its irrelevant isn’t it! So putting a number on a brochure but not having an actual factual production number looks sexy but gets people upset after the fact when they own the machine!

Misleading fact # 3

All rhinestone machines are not created equal! Free or included design software is often worth what you paid for it. Check out the blogs and t-shirt forums and it’s what you will always find as comments. The free GemMaster software is massively lacking. Secondly there are NO rhinestone machines made in USA period. There are Canadian ones using 65% USA content. They are all imported. When there are 2 critical components that are SMC and none of the electronics, none of the parts are official UL/CSA registered parts it’s a joke. Everyone knows that company’s produce specific parts for various markets. In other words there are high end parts and low end parts, there are certified parts and faked parts. But making a claim that the machine is CE certified is a joke because A we are not in Europe. B CE is a self-assessment, that means you write a report stating that you are following the CE rules and using CE parts etc but until there is a claim there is no consequence. It’s a classic trick from overseas suppliers to use this but its really not a reliable or meaningful certification or qualification for American bound product. CE has nothing to do with electrical safety and minimum standards and electrical laws in North America.

Misleading fact # 5

Try to find transfer paper that is 400mm by 400mm that is not at a premium price! Industry standard is 320mm wide by 100meters long. Don’t be forced to buy overpriced transfer paper from one related source. If you buy a rhinestone machine from anyone then you officially are going to be a manufacturer in USA competing with china basically. You CAN’T AFFORD TO BUY SUPPLIES FROM THE MIDDLE MAN, you need to buy your consumables from the source instead as that profit margin going into the hands of the middle man is what actually pays for your machine!

Misleading fact # 6

There in fact are amazing quality rhinestones available direct from highly reliable sources for a fraction of the price. A gross is 144 stones. Small 2mm stones are sold in bags of 1000 gross. Or 144,000 stones so basically your cost as a machine owner should be $100/1000 gross or 144,000 stones!

The average full front design is often around 350-400 stones so this should last you around 360 shirts/designs and a design will work out to be around $0.27. 27 CENTS!!!! This is where you get a free machine basically, if you try to find the one or two of 60 suppliers of stones on the internet directly from china it’s going to be a nightmare. If your supplier provides that information to you, suppliers that have been sending direct to our machine customers for the last 11 years long before anyone else was even in the rhinestone machine business! Then you are the winner! And what you would have paid middle men for stones would actually pay for your machine rhinestone machine lease!

Misleading fact # 7

100% trade up?? The fact is that people who make money with their rhinestone machines rarely if ever trade up. They keep them as a backup or sample machine. Ever notice how its rare to find a used rhinestone machine-well at least a really good one? Putting false and fake ads on dummy websites that go directly back to the dealer to generate leads is actually a great marketing concept- for a snake! It’s a form of deceit because with independent people checking, the same machine has been for sale for the last three years! Then putting your original brand on the page with an inflated price is also brilliant, making the brand look so great. But in the end its all about used car salesmen flogging made in Asia machines.  When you purchase a 2 color machine for $6500 landed and sell it for $12,000-$17,900 or you purchase a 6 color machine for under $12,000 and sell it for $30,000 and its all non-compliant components that would not pass an independent UL inspection then its easy to offer 100% trade in value on any machine when you upgrade to a larger one! Normal manufactures have 40% gross profit margins on their machines, is unusual for dealers to make more than the manufactures and its only possible on Asian imported products.

The image below is an example of that. The ad was created before Apr 2010 but we recorded it back then, it hasn’t changed since that time. That’s what means its been crawled 1 times going all the way back to April 26,2010
